Former Hearts of Oak winger Bernard Dong Bortey claims he has signed a contract to join Swedish fourth tier club Ange IF.
The 32-year-old is launching a latest bid to revive his career which is perceived by many to have ended.
Dong-Bortey says he signed the contract with the Swedish club last weekend and will be flying to start work with his new club in the coming days.
He was one of the most talented wingers in the Ghana Premier League during his prime while with Hearts of Oak.
Bortey together with Charles Taylor constantly terrorized opposing defenders with their pace and skills on both flanks of the Phobians.
Now at 32, the former Aduana Stars player refuses to give up on his career which many believe has ended a long time ago.
Bortey wants to prove once more again that he is fit enough to play competitive football in Europe despite being inactive in recent months with Equatorial Guinean club Panthers FC recorded as his last club.
