Bernard Mensah is set to miss Ghana’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya after suffering an injury on Saturday.
Mensah has been ruled out for a month after sustaining a collarbone injury whilst playing for Kayserispor in the Turkish SupaLig.
The on-loan Atletico Madrid midfielder picked the injury in the 33rd minute of the match against Besiktas at the Kadir Has Stadium.
Scan result suggested that the 24-year-old will be sidelined for 4-5 weeks - which has automatically ruled him out of the Black Stars top of the table in Group F clash against the Harambee Stars of Kenya.
The match is scheduled to come off on Saturday, March 22, at a yet-to-be-named-venue.
Both teams have already qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations which will be held in Egypt in June.
