Vice Chairman of the Premier League Board (PLB), George Amoako, believes good pitches will improve the beauty of the nation’s elite division.
With the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season yet to start, the organisers of the league are currently on an inspection tour and Mr Amoako is advocating quality football parks.
“The pitches on which the teams play on is a big challenge to us. We find it extremely difficult to get the stadia around the centres filled because you can’t even have places to sit and it is a big challenge for us,” he told Class Sports on Monday, February 5.
“If we could have proper pitches especially for the Premier League teams, it will enhance the beauty of the game,” he added.
