There was double delight for the Ayew family on Boxing Day as Andre and his younger brother Jordan scored for their teams in the Championship and Premier League respectively.
Swansea’s livewire Andre Ayew made it back-to-back goals for the Welsh club after scoring the equalizer in their defeat to Brentford.
However, it is the sublime finish by Jordan Ayew against Andre’s former team, West Ham that led the interactions after yesterday’s round of Premier League matches.
It was the 90th minute and the scoreboard read Crystal Palace 1 West Ham 1 and it appeared both teams were going to settle for a draw.
But a moment of magic from the third son Ghana’s football legend stole the vital three points for Crystal Palace.
It was a sublime finish that he perhaps after watching would wonder how he managed to pull off.
Jordan picked the ball from the right, cut in to get away from the West Ham defender, dribbled three defenders, took a glance at the goalie before lobbing it over him. An absolute belter of a goal.
A goal that Messi, Zidane and Ronaldinho would get a standing ovation for. A goal that earned him praises from legendary English striker Gary Lineker.
Palace fans are over the moon and showered praises on the man who got the Man of the Match award after the game.
Jordan Ayew is better than messi and CR7

Pure class!... his touches were sublime... and his finish was sensational. That is the kind of finish that last for over a 1000 years minimum. Damn!!! If this came from Messi or Ronaldo the world will not let us sleep for a week... what a goal.
