English Championship side Birmingham City to make an improved offer of 10 million Euros for Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah.
The Blues Birds have not given up on the chase for the midfielder, having had an initial bid rejected by the Italians.
Manager Harry Redknapp has not hidden his admiration for the midfielder as he pushes on for the player.
According to the Guardian today, Birmingham is ready to make another attempt for Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah who yesterday was "armed" by Mihajlovic at a press conference. Redknapp wants at all costs the Ghanaian but to settle in Torino serve 10 million euros.
With a little over 24 hours remaining for the transfer window to be closed this will be Birmingham’s last chance to sign the player.
Meanwhile, the hard tackling midfielder had been given a late call up by the head coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah, following the injury suffered by Turkish-based Isaac Sackey.
