Now this is an interesting one. We've witnessed a lot of moments of unsporting behaviour on the field of play, but none like this.

Just over an hour into Helsingborgs' 0-0 draw with Norrkoping on Monday, Ghana's David Accam had his boot 'stolen' by an opponent.

Accam's left boot came off on 66 minutes -after skipping past Rawez Lawan of Norrkoping- after which he lost his footing.

In an apparent bid to unsettle Accam, as well as prevent him from causing damage [at least for a short while], Lawan took matters into his own hands...literally.

The midfielder picked up the stray boot, run a few feet away, and threw it back on the ground. The home crowd noticed this act of foul play and immediately expressed their disgust with some boos.

The referee rightly took action, and booked Lawan, whose attempts to render an explanation fell on deaf ears.

In the process, Helsingborgs recorded their fifth straight draw, and have not won a single match since the World Cup ended.
