Former Black Queens captains Florence Okoh alongside Leticia Zikpi, Jemima Dussey are in South Africa for surgery courtesy the Ghana Football Association.
The three landed in SA Sunday for their various surgeries come this Wednesday and are due in Ghana in 14 days time.
Okoh has been suffering this injury for the past two years and had been neglected by the Ghana FA forcing her to prematurely end her career from the national team.
Zikpi who acted in the absence of Okoh also got injured some months ago without any attention till the media took on the GFA.
Dussey was a member of the Maidens team who also suffered a knee injury during one of their qualifiers and has been off the pitch for some months.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday the Black Queens will face their Tunisian counterparts in the second leg of their AWC qualifiers in Tunis.
The Black Queens won the first leg by 2-1.
