Ghana’s U20 team will travel to Sydney on Monday to begin the final phase of their training program ahead of the World Cup.
The Black Satellites have been in Melbourne since Thursday following their successful campaign at the international five-nation friendly tournament series in New Zealand.
Sellas Tetteh’s side won all three games to emerge winners of the friendly tournament before traveling to Australia to intensify their preparations.
The team will now move camp to Sydney on Monday for the final leg of their preparations which includes a planned friendly against Portugal and Colombia.
Ghana will begin their campaign at the FIFA U20 World Cup on May 30 against Austria before taking on Argentina and Panama in subsequent group matches.
