Ghana’s Black Sharks hope to be in action against the best when the 2015 Elite Powerhouse Beach Soccer tournament kicks off in preparation for the CAF Beach Soccer tournament in Seychelles.
The competition which will be held in Durban, South Africa in just over two weeks has seen the Sharks fall short in preparation as the tournament drifts closer.
President of the Ghana Beach Soccer Association, Yaw Ampofo-Ankrah however confirmed that although CAL bank is giving $20,000 to the team as a yearly sponsorship, an additional $52,000 is needed to secure the entire total package for players, officials, local camping preparations, air tickets and travelling in SA.
The Black Sharks will play Uganda in a qualifying game.
