Former Black Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams expects Aduana Stars goalie Joseph Addo to be handed starting role in the Black Stars team to face Ethiopia on Sunday ahead of Wa All Stars Richard Ofori and Felix Annan of Asante Kotoko.
One of the three local based goalkeepers will be in post on Sunday following coach Kwesi Appia’s failure to include Cordoba based Razak Braimah in his squad for the AFCON qualifier and Stephen Adams argues Jospeh Addo stands tall among his competitors.
The Black Stars begin their 2019 AFCON Qualification campaign against Ethiopia on Sunday at the Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi and according to Adams Jospeh Addo’s current form in the Ghana Premier League is enough to earn his a starting role on Sunday.
Stephen Adams, a member of Ghana’s team at the 2014 Worldcup in Brazil commenting on a Facebook poll conducted by Sportsworldghana.com’s Odeneho Stevenson said ”Joseph Addo is on top form he as to be in de post”
