Popular Ghanaian rapper Guru has backed Maxwell Konadu to become the next Black Stars head coach.

Known in real life as Maradona Yeboah Adjei, the ‘Kase?b?’ hitmaker believes the current Kotoko Coach stands tall above his peers and certainly deserves the job.

The Black Stars head coach role became vacant following a decision by the GFA to dissolve all technical structures of the various national teams.

The development has triggered an ongoing discussion as to who should replace James Kwasi Appiah as the next Black Stars head coach.

Opinions have been divided with some section of football followers preferring an expatriate coach to a local, while others prefer the latter to the former.

It is clear that Guru has waded into this by not just making known his preference for a local coach, but also boldly naming former Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu as the man for the job.

He shared this via his official Twitter handle.
