Black stars of Ghana will arrive in Gabon on Friday night to begin their fight for the Africa Cup of Nations title after completing their intensive two-week camp in South Africa.
Twenty three players and officials are expected to touch down in the Gabonese capital Libreville on Friday evening before moving to their Group D base of Franceville.
The Black Stars completed their training programme at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Complex in Rustenburg on Thursday night.
They finished the day with two training sessions and have now turned their attention on winning the African Cup of Nations.
Goran Stevanovic’s side during their preparations in South Africa played two warm up games.
The Black Stars drew 1-1 with the Bafana Bafana on Sunday and beat PSL side, Platinum Stars 2-0 on Wednesday.
The return of Asamoah Gyan has boosted confidence in the side while the form of Jordan Ayew and John Boye as well as Prince Tagoe has delighted the technical team. Ghana launch their Nations Cup campaign against Botswana on Tuesday and also have to deal with Guinea and Mali in Group D.
