Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey is unconcerned by the unfriendly weather condition in Japan as they play the Blue Sumarai in an international friendly on Wednesday at the Nissan Stadium.

The Japanese will use this game to finalize their World Cup squad before meeting FIFA’s deadline.

Ghana’s coach Kwesi Appiah is also putting his team in order ahead of his 2019 AFCON qualifier in September, having failed to secure a ticket for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.

Speaking ahead of the match, Atletico Madrid enforcer, Thomas Partey, who according to information reaching GHANAsoccernet.com will be captain the team in the absence of Asamoah Gyan, believes they are prepared for the harsh weather condition as they aim to return home with victory.

"I think that Japan is a team that plays good football, so I'd like to prepare firmly and start 100%."

"Regardless of the friendly match this time, I feel that it is important to win the best by demonstrating the full power. It is a game in the climate of Japan, but it is not hot and it is not cold, so I am not particularly concerned. The team can adapt as soon as this climate, and I think that play will not be affected. I am very much looking forward to a good game."

The Black Stars will play against another 2018 FIFA World Cup bound Iceland on Thursday, June 7.
