Black Stars missed the services of Asamoah Gyan in Egypt loss - Damba

Former Black Stars goalkeeper Abukari Damba says the Black Stars missed the services skipper Asamoah Gyan in their 0-2 loss to Egypt.

Damba says the results would have been better had Gyan played in the match against the Pharaohs.

Gyan missed out on the match through an injury with Andre Ayew captaining the side in his absence.

The Stars currently trail leaders Egypt by five points after two matches and must win all remaining matches to go through.

In an interview with Starr FM, Damba said “We really missed the services of our captain Asamoah Gyan in the Egypt game”.
