Ghana Football Association have written to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for a change of hotel for the senior national team ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Group H qualifier against Mauritius on June 5.
The Black Stars used to stay at Alisa Hotel in Accra since their venue was moved from Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi to the capital but have recently expressed their disapproval of the facility.
Goal understands that the players have resolved to camp at Movenpick Hotel in Accra for their subsequent games.
The sports ministry, Ghana FA and players’ representatives have been scheduled to meet on Monday to deliberate on the new development.
The Black Stars will begin a three-day training camp on Monday before travelling to Port Louis on Thursday.
Ghana top Group H made up of Mozambique, Rwanda and Mauritius with 10 points and a win against the latter will confirm their place in the tournament to be hosted by Gabon.
