Black Stars should shun inferiority complex

Kumasi, June 20, GNA - Ghana's Black Stars have been urged to go all out to ensure victory as they face the Germans in their last Group "D" match in the on-going FIFA World Cup tournament in South Africa on Wednesday in Johannesburg.

Togbui Mawufeame Fugah, Head of the Ewe Community in Ashanti, said they should shun tactical indiscipline, complacency and unnecessary cards to enable them qualify to the next stage.

The Stars are billed to take on their German counterparts in a crucial encounter in a match which the Stars need only a draw to advance to the one-sixteenth stage of the competition.

Ghana, currently lies on top of their group with four points after defeating Serbia 1-0 and drawing 1-1 with Australia and are being closely followed by Germany and Serbia who are on three points apiece with Australia with only a point.

Togbui Fugah in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) Sports in Kumasi on Sunday said all was not lost for Ghana and for that matter the Black Stars should have the courage and determination to ensure victory over Germany.

He appealed to all Ghanaians to rally behind the Stars since they have the potential to make Africa

proud.
