Black Stars to leave for Spain on Sunday, not Saturday

Black Stars Welfare Officer, Saban Quaye has confirmed to DailySoccerGhana.com that the team will leave for Spain on Sunday for their 10-day pre-tournament camping ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The FA had earlier revealed that Avram Grant’s side will depart for Seville on Saturday for the 10-day camping exercise.

“Yes the team will leave on Sunday at 9.00am on a KLM flilght. We will fly through Holland before arriving in Seville,” Mr. Quaye told DailySoccerGhana.com.

Five players will be dropped from the preliminary squad before the team’s departure on January 4th.
