Black Stars win 1-0 in Australia

This is to inform you about Ghana's victory in the 3rd Soccer match played at Perth. The score was 1-0. It was an excellent performance form the Black Stars. They have actually given us what is expected of the Black Stars.

The two leading players, Augustine Ahinful and Felix Aboagye who arrived in Perth just 28 hours really gave the Australian team something to think about before their World Soccer Qualifying match with Argentina in a months time.

Ablade Kuna received the player of the match award. This is perhaps one of the neat display of our future Black Stars, given that most of the players are under 23 years.

A note of caution is that we should not make similar mistakes in future, especially for the Brazil match by not using our top strickers. I believe that the two guys that arrived for the last match would have made a difference if they had arrived for the other two matches.

The weather in Perth might also be a contributing factor to the success, although it rained in Perth during the match. But the hot climate of Perth, Western Australia was good for the boys.

Furthermore, I was told by a close friend (Please keep this as a secret!!!) that the Ghanaian women in Perth teamed with Adelaide and Sydney ladies to prepare goat meat and groundnut soup for the boys. This was in response to the complain from one of the reserves that the food was not good (laugh it off!!!) Congratulations to our Boys.

Catch up with you later,
