Blame Ghanaians and players for Appiah's exit - Jawula

A former chairman of the Ghana Football Association, Alhaji M.N.D. Jawula has blamed officials of the FA, Black Stars players and the entire nation for the dismissal of Coach Kwesi Appiah.

The Ex Kumasi Asante player has been relieved of his job after being in charge of the senior national team for two years.

According to Alhaji Jawula, he is not surprised with Appiah’s sacking because he did not get the support of the FA and Ghanaians at large.

“There have been a general believe that he could not even get Ghanaians on his side, there are other issues that the Players were not comfortable with the Coach and the FA as I know, I don’t think had that peace of mind to do the sort of work they wanted to do for him in order to bring in the needed results.”

Former Coach, Milovan Rajevac has been interviewed to take over as the next Coach of the Black Stars, but nothing official has been confirmed by the FA.

Meanwhile, experienced Journalist, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah believes GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi must resign or embark on a serious house cleaning exercise.

“Sacking Kwesi Appiah is not the problem because Nyantakyi now has to take a look around him and do a house cleaning exercise other than that he himself must resign,” Ankrah said.
