Accra, April 30, GNA - Budget Cash and Carry, sole agents of Blue Jeans energy drinks on Monday presented 100 cartons of its products to Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club.
The company also presented a cheque for 50 million cedis to the Club in recognition of its feat as the winners of the 2006/2007 Onetouch Premier League competition.
Nana Egyir Aggrey, Managing Director of the company said the gesture was also to congratulate the Club for winning the league in Ghana's jubilee year.
Mr. Commodore Mensah, Board Chairman of Hearts who received the presents on behalf of the Club, thanked the energy drink dealers for their kind gesture.
He said the Club will in future consider the company as their official beverage sponsors.
Meanwhile, Valex Lease Equipments, dealers in stationary wares also presented a photocopier machine valued at 24 million cedis to the "Phobians" for winning their 19th league title. Vincent Odotei Sowah, Chief Executive Officer of the Club promised that his outfit will handle the maintenance of the equipment free of charge.
