Derek Boateng has confirmed his invitation to the Black Stars for the friendly against China.
Ghana will play the Asian giants to prepare for the crucial 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi.
The game will also afford coach Akwasi Appiah an opportunity to closely assess the players before naming his squad for the qualifier in September.
Some players including debutants Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Abdul Majeed Waris are said to have received official notification of their invitation to the Black Stars for the game expected to be played in Beijing of which the Dnipro midfield enforcer now confirms will feature in.
Boateng has crept into the side to hold down a regular starting place in recent games.
He is again expected to play a leading role in August’s friendly and also the qualifier against The Flames.
