Italian Serie A side Bologna are set to extend the contract of Ghana midfielder Godfred Donsah in December with contract talks already ongoing.
The Ghana midfielder has been identified as a fundamental figure for the future of the club as representatives of the player have already opened talks with Bologna.
With several clubs showing interest in the player, The Red and Blues are briskly working around the clock to get the player extend his contract by December before the January transfer window opens.
Donsah had a turbulent summer with many Serie A clubs negotiating for the signature of the strong midfielder but Bologna were unsatisfied with the offer of the only €5m.
The Ghanaian midfielder has a contract expiring in 2020: the intention is to extend it until 2021 with a contractual adjustment of €750k, in line with the latest purchases.
So far, any bid has been redeemed by the player, but now, after months of silence, the company is awaiting a response.
