The world’s oldest football scout who scouted Ghana’s 1997 and 1999 captain for u-17 and u-20 Godwin Attram, Piet De Visser honoured Former Black Stars player with a book which contains the history of Attram and ten other special players he scouted. The book which was launch in Holland in support of Atrram’s football academy project was presented to him in Amsterdam on 4th April earlier this year.
Piet De Visser first scouted Godwim Attram to PSV Eindhoven in the year 1998.
Piet de Visser (born 23 September 1934 in Oost-Souburg, Zeeland) is a Dutch football manager and scout. He is best known for scouting players like Romário and Ronaldo and successfully bringing them to Europe. He is currently a personal adviser to Roman Abramovich, the owner of the English club Chelsea F.C.
Attram happens to be one of the ten special players who received the book that contains stories about themselves from their scout which will soon be on the world market especially to both current and old coaches respectively to raise money to support his dream of given opportunities to young football talent in Ghana and the rest of Africa to realized their God given potential.
Guus Hiddink, former player and current coach of Holland national team is also part of the 10 players that were given this special book as a symbolic for giving their all to the game in their playing days as footballers.
The former black stars midfielder Godwin Attram is currently undertaking several thousands of dollars football academy project in Sowutuom near Pentecost University in aim of raising future stars for Ghana and football market.
