Boye named in Metz squad to face Lorient

Ghana defender John Boye has been named in FC Metz 18 man match day squad to face FC Lorient this evening (Friday).

The experienced Ghanaian is expected to partner Zambian Stopila Sunzu in the heart of manager Frederic Antonetti’s defence.

Boye joined Metz this summer after deciding not to renew his contract with Turkish side Sivasspor.

He has formed an impregnable central defensive partnership with Sunzu which is one of the best in the French second tier.

Metz are on top of Ligue 2 with 27 points whilst Lorient are fourth with 21 points.
