Ghana defender John Boye played a key role for Sivasspor in their crucial away victory over Gaziantepspor in the Turkish top-flight on Friday.
The 28-year-old lasted the entire period of the game in central defence for Gaziantep Kamil Ocak Stadium as the Yigidos claimed a vital away win to improve their survival chances.
But Sivasspor still sits in the relegation zone but are now a point to safety though other strugglers have games on Saturday and Sunday.
Sivasspor needed the victory to stand any chance to emerging out of the relegation and Boye's solid performance in defence ensured the hosts stood no chance of equalising Aatif Chahechouhe's first-half stoppage-time finish.
Boye, a scoring defender, has contributed four league goals in 20 appearances in the Turkish top-flight this season.
