Ghana and Ascoli midfielder, Bright Addae, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the some suburbs of Assin North Municipality where he donated items to the needy as part of activities of his foundation.
The 24 year-old defender, popular refereed to as the ‘The Wall’ , distributed a series of items which includes assorted toiletries, food items just to mention a few to the poor through the ‘Bright Addae Foundation’ to various households in the Assin Fosu area.
Municipal Chief Executive of Assin Fosu, Honourable Kofi Baako, in his remarks highlighted how grateful they are to him in embarking this mission to help they needy which demonstrates his desire to give back to the community.
He said:” I’m elated with the step taken by this young man (Addae), it should serve as a precedent to all those who fail to remember the needy when they have wealth.
“Even though he is not indigene of Assin Fosu, he came and donated some stuffs to the needy which highly appreciably. On behalf of the government of Ghana, I want to say a very big thank to the foundation for this wonderful initiative.”
Addae in his remark during his visit to the Assin Fosu highlighted his zeal to help the needy through his foundation and entreated to remember him in their prayers for
a fruitful career.
