Former Ghana Football Association President, Alhaji M.N.D Jawula has advised new GFA President Kurt E.S Okraku and his team to make a conscious effort to bring the good old days of the Ghana Premier league back.

Alhaji Jawula who was the GFA boss between 1997 and 2001 thinks that bringing the crowd back to the various match venues will be a good start for the new GFA President.

“There is a lot to do and a lot to start from. Kurt and his team must do their best to bring the good old days of the league back like the days of Herbert Mensah and Harry Zakour, we need the crowd back.”

He also cautioned the referees and match officials to desist from taking incentives and inducement from clubs to influence games like some of them exhibited in the Anas number 12 expose.

“Referees should not make the mistake to go back to the old days of getting money and forcing penalties to favour clubs. We won’t tolerate that and Kurt and his team should not tolerate that. ” he told Kumasi FM.

Kurt Okraku last Friday won the 2019 GFA Elections to become the 24 the President of the FA.
