Ghana midfielder Prince Buaben impressed in midfield for Hearts of Midlothian who suffered a 2-1 reverse against English giants Manchester City in a pre-season friendly on Friday night.
The former Dundee United box-to-box midfielder slugged it out with Scot Sinclair, Javi Garcia and Bruno Zuculini midfield and helped them to hold the English champions.
Buaben was replaced by Scott Robinson on the hour mark and City took advantage of the weakened Hearts midfield and Alexandre Kolarov won the game for them with an 80th minute strike at the Tynecastle Stadium.
The former Ajax Amsterdam Academy graduate has inked a one-year-contract for Hearts and is expected to help them through their quest to secure promotion back into the Scottish Premiership.
