Accra, June 12, GNA - Kofi Abrefa Busia of Kumasi became the proud winner of the Pepsi Cola CAN 2004 'Predict and Win' raffle draw held in Accra on Friday.
Busia predicted that Tunisia was going to win the competition with Patrick Mboma of Cameroun winning the Top Scorer award, received a return air ticket to South Africa as his prize.
He would also witness the ceremony of the 'Africa Best Journalist of the year ' award in Johannesburg.
Mr Charles Nimako, Managing Director of Beverage Investments Ghana Limited producers of Pepsi Cola, said the company organised the raffle to reward their loyal customers for patronising their products. He said the company would also be the official beverage company for CAN 2008 should Ghana win the Bid to host the event as its contribution to sports development in the country.
Mr Jeff Hagan, Director at the Ministry of Tourism and Modernization of the Capital City, on behalf of the Minister, Mr Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey presented the prize to Busia which was received on his behalf by Mr Kofi Nyantekyi, Vice Chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
