Businesses came to a standstill when Ghana lost to the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the semi-final in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars of Ghana succumbed to a 2-0 defeat Cameroon in the semi-final stage of the AFCON courtesy goals from Michael Ngadue and Christian Bassogog to the nation's hope of ending their 35-year title drought.
However, the effect of the defeat was enormous than the Black Stars missing out on the coveted trophy as businesses in the country suffered most in the outcome.
"I put everything into this, for all the right reasons," said Kingsley Ofosu-hene, who is from Techie, Accra. "I believed it was the passionate, patriotic thing to do."
"I envisaged the team winning so that my business (pub) will boom but they disappointed me and I believe it's not only but the entire populace. "
