Asante Kotoko legend, Abdul Razak 'the Golden Boy' says coach Charles Kwablan Akunnor changes he made to face Nkana FC last Sunday worked to perfection.
The 44-year-old gaffer made four changes to his starting line up that defeated the Zambian side 3-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday. In the line-up was Daniel Darkwah, Wahab Adams, Martin Antwi, and Augustine Sefah.
The Reds having had poor defensive pairing had to make the needed changes though there were some injury concerns in the team. However, the effect of new faces into the starting line up was as a result of unpardonable goals conceded.
Akunnor changes have impressed Razak acknowledging his tactics and new pairing.
"C.K tactics at the backline in Nkana game was not bad. They did very well. The pairing was good and he has a good bench".
"Against Nkana FC, he made the changes and he got it right, there were three goals and no goal against", he opined in an interview with Akakpo Agodji.
He added that Akunnor should be given the needed space to operate as a coach.
"He (Akunnor) is the only person who can correct the whole team. We don't need to criticize him too much when we are outside".
"We should let the coach work-out his plans afterwards we access him on the positives and negatives", he stated.
