The Central Region Division two league matches would take off on Sunday, March 15, at all the league centres, Matthew Doe, the Regional Chairman of the Ghana Football Association has announced.
He said 44 teams including Cape Coast Venomous Vipers would participate in the competition. Mr Doe warned that the association would not tolerate riotous behaviour during the competition and appealed to club officials to educate their supporters on the rules of the game.
He further warned that club officials who have not paid their registration fees should do so to avoid embarrassment.
Doe also appealed to referees who would be appointed to officiate the league matches to expose any club official who attempts to bribe them.
