Asante Kotoko defender Ismael Abdul Ganiyu has described the side’s performance against Nkana as a bad day.
The center back attributed his side defeat to Nkana FC to a bad day at the office and also called on the fans to keep supporting the team as they head to the crucial stage of the competition.
“We had a bad day. It’s the nature of the job. I’m calling on the fans to keep supporting us and follow it with prayers,” he told FootballMadeInGhana.com in an exclusive interview.
“Things are going to get better in our next match. We are sorry for what happened in Zambia,” he added.
Asante Kotoko will be looking to return to winning ways when they face Nkana FC on Sunday 3 March at the Baba Yara stadium.
