Public Relations officer for Asante Kotoko Kennedy Boakye Ansah has justified why management of the club have promised the players a huge bonus for their encounter against Etoile Du Sahel.
Each player has been promised a whooping $2,000 should they eliminate the Tunisian to progress to the group stages of the competition.
The Porcupine warriors won the first leg tie by 2-0 and will be looking use their first leg advantage to the next stage of the competition.
When asked why management made those promises to the playing body, Kennedy answered,
“When working with someone and the person does it to perfection, it’s only fair to also put measures in place to enhance the living condition of the person.
“In view of the aforementioned, we deem it fit to also reward the efforts of the players, only Asante Kotoko is capable of doing such a thing for it players.
He continued “The players are fighting for Ghana and Asanteman hence Dr. Kwame Kyei taught it wise to double their bonus if they secure qualification.
“Against Kano Pillars the players received $1000 so if they qualify each player will receive $2000 aside a per day of $500”
The game will come off on Sunday at Monastir in Tunisia instead of Sousse.
