Nsoatreman FC attacker Mohammed Abdul Rahman has expressed his team's determination to eliminate Raja Casablanca from the CAF Confederation Cup.
After edging out Chadian outfit Elect Sport in the first preliminary round, the Ghana FA Cup champions are set to face the Moroccan giants in the second round.
Yaw Preko’s side will host Raja Casablanca this weekend before traveling to Morocco for the return fixture.
Speaking to the media, Abdul Rahman, who has been in top form for Nsoatreman FC, emphasized their commitment to overcoming Raja Casablanca.
"I believe we can match up to Raja Casablanca. It's about following our coach's instructions. We are not afraid. With the support of Ghanaians, we will do our best to eliminate them," he said.
Rahman has been outstanding this season, scoring three goals in three matches across competitions. He netted a brace in the first leg against Elect Sport, helping his team advance to the next stage of the qualifiers.
The attacker also scored in the Ghana Premier League opener, where Nsoatreman FC defeated Young Apostles 2-0.
Rahman hopes to maintain his fine form throughout the season for the Amano-based club.
