Ghana Premier League club Obuasi Ashanti Gold will be playing as a guest to Moroccan side RS Bekane later today as they seek qualification to the group stage of this year’s CAF Confederations Cup competition.
The two clubs honoured a date a fortnight ago at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the first leg of the encounter. The Miners who played at home emerged at 3-2 winners, giving them a slight but dangerous advantage going into the return leg.
RS Bekane now trailing on aggregate will seek to overturn the result from the away fixture when they welcome their West African opponent to their backyard later today.
Whiles both sides are determined to sail through this stage, it will not come easy and the side that wins will need to put in much work per what was displayed from the first meeting where they both showed they can play and score as well.
The deciding match will be played later this evening at the Stade Municipal de Berkane at 20:00GMT.
