CAF License A course to continue in mid-July

Footy-ghana.com can confirm that the second phase of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) License ‘A’ coaching course will take place at the Prampram Soccer Centre for Excellence from 15-30 July 2013.

Over 50 coaches completed the first phase of the course and are expected to take part in the second phase.

Course participants will include Black Stars head coach Kwasi Appiah, assistant coach Maxwell Konadu and national goalkeepers’ trainer Nassamu Yakubu. Others coaches expected to take part in the course include Hearts of Oak head coach David Duncan, former Black Starlets head coach Emmanuel Afranie and lots of coaches working in the Ghana Premier League.

In a related development, the FIFA Member Association (MA) administration course will also take place from July 15-19, 2013 in Accra.

The course instructor, Frederick Mngomezulu from Swaziland is expected to arrive on July 13 and he will depart a week later.

Course participants would be expected to register at the Ghana Football Association headquarters in Accra.
