CAF delegation for last visit

Accra, Dec 4, GNA - Officials of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) are scheduled to arrive in Accra on Friday, December 7, 2007 to begin a three-day inspection tour of the venues and facilities put in place by Ghana towards the 26th MTN African Cup of Nations. The inspection tour is the tenth and the last of the official visit to Ghana with regard to the preparations for the tournament since the nation was given the hosting right of the biennial fiesta. Information gathered by the GNA Sports said the visit is expected to center on all the facilities put in place for the tourney which is 46 days away.
The Inspection Team expressed general satisfaction with the progress of work on facilities for the continental event during their last visit in October.
The CAF Inspection Team will be led by Mr. Slim Aloulou, Member of the CAF Executive Committee.
The competition spans from January 20-February 10.
