CAS to hear Ben Acheampong's appeal against Zamalek on July 21

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will hear the appeal involving Ghanaian striker Benjamin Acheampong and Zamalek over non-payment of fees will be heard on July 21, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm.

The former Asante Kotoko hitman has dragged the Egyptian giants to the adjudicatory chamber for the side's refusal honour its contractual obligations.

FIFA rejected Acheampong's complaints but CAS will now hear the appeal, scheduled for July 1 in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The striker is now hoping to overturn FIFA's ruling at the highest court in international sport.

The Ghanaian star joined the Whites Nights in 2017 but terminated his contract after just a year over unfair treatment.

But GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm that the Court of Arbitration for Sport will hear the appeal on next month to bring finality to the legal tussle.
