CID and NSA boss join Arsenal EPL title celebrations at British High Commission

The Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Lydia Yaako Donkor, was among several high-profile guests who attended a special gathering hosted by the British High Commission to mark Arsenal’s English Premier League title triumph on Sunday, May 14, 2026.

The event, held at the residence of British High Commissioner Christian Rogg, brought together football enthusiasts, sports administrators, diplomats, media personalities and entertainment figures to witness the final day of the Premier League season.

COP Donkor joined the Director General of the National Sports Authority, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, as well as Ghana football legend Asamoah Gyan and former Ghana international Anthony Baffoe at the colourful celebration dominated by Arsenal supporters.

The occasion also attracted notable personalities from the sports and entertainment industries and other seasoned media figures.

Members of the Black Queens squad, including Jennifer Cudjoe and Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, were also present as guests celebrated Arsenal’s successful campaign in style.

The gathering capped off the Premier League season with networking, football conversations and celebrations among some of Ghana’s most influential personalities.
