Ex-Ghana captain, Charles Akonnor is set to earn a mouthwatering salary if appointed Guinea’s national team coach.
Weeklysportsgh.com’s checks have revealed that his monthly take home will be in the region of €30,000 if he is given the nod after the interview session which begins on September 12.
Akonnor was shortlisted alongside 16 other top coaches for the vacant Syli national team job.
It will be his biggest test and career at national team level if appointed as his only stints come with Ghana’s U17 and U20 as an assistant to Frimpong Manso.
Akonnor has a sumptuous domestic CV having coached Ghana’s topmost clubs, Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko which he led to the group phase of the 2017-18 CAF Confederation Cup.
AshantiGold,Dreams FC and Sekondi Eleven Wise are other clubs he has had experience with.
