Call me a fool if I don’t knockout Bastie - Bukom Banku

Highly spirited Ghanaian boxer Braimah Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku (29-0, 22 KO’s) has told his followers, to declare him a fool and a disgrace to boxing if he does not knock-out his ferocious opponent Bastie Samir ‘The Beast’ (15-0-1, 14 KO’s) in their high profile cruiserweight fight scheduled for October 21 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

When the two boxer’s met at the West Hills mall for their first public appearance organized by the promoters Box Office Promotions, Bastie confirmed his preparedness to cause the first defeat of the Banku who he calls a ‘Braggart’.

However, the words of the Las Vegas boxer has not deterred the tough talking Bukom boxer who has had an illustrious career defeating all his opponents.

After performing his new danceable song to his fans who he calls “the Bukom Haram” at the event Bukom Banku rose to the occasion to assure his fans to not be frightened by Bastie Samir.

“As for Bastie if he does not die in the ring in round six, then Bukom Haram should call me foolish and a disgrace.”

Quoting one of his renowned proverb’s Banku told Ghanaweb.com “the guy talks like a milk container but he is an empty barrel, he is a small boy in boxing.”

The two boxers would earn GHC 100,000 cedis each from the promoters irrespective of the outcome of the bout.

Box Office Sports Promotions have also denied reports that an injunction has been placed on the bout to prevent it from happening.

Cecil Sunkwa Mills, the General Manager of MultiChoice Ghana, has assured that his outfit would provide a world-class coverage of the event for the entire African continent.

Bukom Banku and Bastie Samir would make their next public appearance at the Accra Mall on Saturday, 14th October.
