Call me a fool if I don’t stop Fernando Saucedo – Emmanuel Tagoe

Ghana’s Emmanuel Tagoe has stated that Ghanaians should “call him a fool” if he fails to stop Fernando David Saucedo in their upcoming bout

Tagoe’s IBO lightweight belt will be on the line on Saturday at the Bukom Boxing Arena as he will be making his first defense of the belt.

The two boxers at Friday’s weigh-in made their respective weight for the fight – the duo weighed 135Ibs each.

And at the news conference after their weigh-in Tagoe predicted a KO win.

“I will stop Saucedo in round 9 i promise all Ghanaians,”Tagoe said. “If i don’t stop him in round 9 all Ghanaians should call me a fool.”

“I won’t finish the 12 rounds with him. I will end it in round 9. If he proves stubborn on the night, then i will severely punish him.

“I want the ambulance to be closer to the ring, if he proves stubborn and pass round 9 i will send him to the hospital trust me.”
