David Duncan says there is no chance he will ever return to Accra Hearts of Oak under the current board and management, according to a source close to the coach.
Duncan was fired as Hearts coach mid-season after a personal rift with the majority shareholder of the team, Togbe Afede, leading to a tumultuous break between management and sections of the supporting body.
The source revealed that Duncan was convinced he would never return to Hearts and should be considered a "twat" if he ever made that call.
"He is aware several of the board said they would vote against him 100 times if the opportunity arose," the source revealed.
Duncan is currently embroiled in a tussle over compensation with the club after he was awarded a $40,000 package by the Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association, a decision that is currently under appeal by the club.
