Opoku Nti
Ex-Kotoko forward Shilla Alhassan insists it's a big mistake for Kotoko fans to call for the head of Opoku Nti as the General Manager of the club.
Calls from a section of the Porcupine family are that the former legend of the club, now the GM is not performing and must surrender his role.
But Shilla Alhassan thinks a club legend like Opoku Nti does not deserve to be treated the way he is being treated.
"It is a great advantage for me to convince the fans to rally behind Opoku Nti to take the club to the level they want. I have been hearing a lot of things in Tamale about the fans and Opoku Nti but I think it's a big mistake," he said.
"I remember opting to play for Kotoko because of Opoku Nti when I was playing for RTU. He is a great figure and someone who deserves great respect.
"Regardless of everything, Opoku Nti's legacy must be respected because he has done a lot for the club. He doesn't deserve the way he is being treated,"he added.
Shilla believes that Opoku Nti must rather be used in a proper manner to affect the club positively.
