Cape Coast-based referee for Kotoko-Faisal game

Accra, Jan 27, GNA - Cape Coast-based referee Joseph McCarthy has been appointed to officiate Sunday's Coca Cola Top Four game between defending champions, King Faisal and badly bruised Kumasi Asante Kotoko. The game, which is the second in the competition and billed for the Kumasi Sports Stadium, according to the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), would have Justice Yeboah and R.K Setoworfia assisting from the lines.

A release signed by Mr Kudjoe Fianoo, Administrative Manager of GHALCA and copied to the GNA Sports named G.K Manu as the referee for the Accra game involving table leaders, Kpando Heart of Lions and Confederations Cup Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak.

B.A Ahmed and Agyeman Duah from Kumasi and Koforidua respectively would help the Kumasi-based Manu on the lines.

Referees E.T Allotey and Thomas Nunoo would act as the fourth referees, whilst Mr Asante Boateng and Oteng Aboagye are the match commissioners for the Kumasi and Accra games respectively.
