After been robbed off their solitary lead on the league table Kumasi Asante Kotoko visit the capital to play as guest to inform Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports stadium in the penultimate match of the Glo Premier league.

The Porcupine Warriors are still on top of the log with 24 points the same as their arc rivals Accra Hearts of Oak but the fabulous club are leading courtesy a superior goal aggregate. The scientific soccer lads, Liberty professionals are sixth on the log with 20 points and are surely going to give Kotoko a real hell of time.

Liberty broke Dwarfs home invisibility at the Robert Mensah Stadium last weekend when they quashed the mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs by 3 – 0 last weekends thus pushing them three places up.

For the Porcupine Warriors to enjoy a mid-week dinner in the capital, Maxwell Konadu needs to build his midfield around the enterprising Micheal Anaba and should also sharpen his strikers teeth in other to making the most of all half chances because Liberty’s defence are tactically discipline and are not going to give them too much space to operate.

On the other hand, coach Sarpong should advise his midfielders to hold the ball for too long. Coach Sarpong knows how to play against the big guns in the premiership and will make Kotoko sweat for 90 minutes. A draw looks likely in this encounter but should Kotoko central defensive pair repeats their sluggishness then Liberty will override them.

At the Bechem Park, fifteenth placed Bechem united will play as host to former continental club masters Accra Hearts of Oak in a match which the host has no other option than to go for the three maximum points.

Hearts win over soccer miners Ashantigold last Sunday proved that the phobians are still in contention for the league and Mahatma Otoo’s performance on the day shows that giving the necessary contributions he can do the goal harvest job for the phobians.

Bechem united has chalked two victories at their Bechem Park so far but a win over Hearts at this time of the season needs something extra to making this a reality. Hearts is favorite in this encounter but like the saying goes ‘He who is down needs no fall’, so Bechem united can pull a surprise should the phobians fails to play above themselves.

At the Berekum Golden City Park, defending league champions Berekum Chelsea will battle things out with relegation threatened and Berekum landlords, Arsenals. Chelsea is fifth on the log with 21 points whiles Arsenals are fourteenth with only 10 points from thirteen matches played.

The defending champions are gradually loosing their superiority in the league and needs to announce their presence with this match but Arsenal are also in need of the three maximum points to lift their sinking image as they are locked beneath the table.

Former African Champions league campaigners Aduana Stars will welcome All Stars to the Osagyefo Agyemang Badu Stadium at Dormaa. The host who robbed Kotoko the chance of extending their lead on the log after playing a barren draw with the Porcupine Warriors at the Baba Yara Stadium last Sunday needs to prove that their performance against Kotoko was no fluke.

Aduana are currently on the seventh position with 19 points whiles All Stars on the other hand are third on the log with 24 points. Aduana are very strong at their back yard but their problem has always been their lack of fire upfront to putting the balls in their opponents twine.

All Stars have proven beyond reasonable doubts that they can also clinch the ultimate but the host is likely to run away with the three points at stake with a slim win.

At the Sekondi Sports Stadium in Essipong, Medeama Sporting club will welcome troubled looking Cape-Coast Mysterious Dwarfs. Medeama were ordinary to watch last weekend when they played Edubiase without their sharp thinking Luis Agyeman.

Medeama is ninth on the league table with 18 points whiles Dwarfs are eighth with 19 points. Coach Bashiru Hayford is not going to risk any of his players in this encounter because dropping a point in this match could cause his exit from the club.

New Edubiase united will also travel to Tema to face Tema Youth at the Tema astro turf park in Community three. The home side is eleventh on the table with 16 points whiles New Edubiase is fourth with 22 points.

Tema Youth are technically and tactically astute especially at the Tema park and will surely give the visitors a lot of difficult pills to swallow but New Edubiase are also quite a strong side and can surprise Tema Youth if the home side should underrate them.

At the Len Stadium in Obuasi, soccer miners Ashantigold will seek to redeem their image against relegation zoned Wassaman united. Ashantigold is twelfth on the table with 14 points whiles Wassaman is sixteenth with just 7 points.

‘Giants Killers’, Hearts of Lions will welcome Mighty Jets to the Kpando Park. Lions are tenth on the table with 17 points whiles Mighty Jets is logged in the relegation zone with 13 points. Lions look likely to carry the three points but they should be weary of Jets threat.

PREDICTIONS

Aduana 1 – 0 All Stars

Liberty 2 – 1 Kotoko

Medeama 2 – 0 Dwarfs

T. Youth 1 – 0 Edubiase

Ashantigold 2 – 0 Wassaman

Bechem 1 – 2 Hearts

Lions 3 – 1 M. Jets

Chelsea 2 – 1 Arsenal
