Tema, Nov. 13, GNA - The November Medal Open Golf Championship of the Celebrity Golf Club, which was fixed for November 16 at Sakumono, near Tema has been re-scheduled to be played on Saturday, November 15. Mr Ato Endmann, General Manager of the Celebrity Golf Club, who announced this at Tema on Thursday, however did not assign any reason for the change of the date. About 100 golfers are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Medal Play event.

About 100 golfers are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Medal Play event. The competition is being sponsored by the Celebrity Golf Club and it would be played under the rules of the Ghana Golf Association and the local rules of the Celebrity Golf Club. There would be prizes for the 'Longest Drive on Hole 18' and the 'Nearest to the pin on Hole 17'. Mr Endmann entreated all golfers to take note of the change of date and comply accordingly.
