Tema, Feb. 22, GNA - The Celebrity Golf Club's February Medal Championship will tee-off at the Celebrity Golf Course at Sakumono near Tema on Saturday, February 24.
Mr Ato Endman, Resident Manager of the Club who announced this on Thursday said they expect more than 100 amateur golfers to participate in the one-day 18-Hole competition which is open to amateur golfers from Tema, Achimota and Bok Nam Kim Golf Clubs.
In another development, Achimota Golf Club will host the Stanbic Bank Invitational Championship at Achimota in Accra on Saturday. More than 100 golfers from the Greater Accra Region have been invited to participate in the event which has attractive prizes at stake. Mr Kwesi Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club on Thursday announced in Accra.
Officials of the Bank are expected to grace the occasion.
