Ghana ace Michael Essien has confirmed his home in Athens was burgled last Wednesday.
However, the Panathinaikos star failed to give details of the robbery attack and whether he lost valuables in the raid.
Essien summed it up as his first bad week in the Greek capital following his side’s 1-0 home defeat to Xanthi.
He posted on official Twitter page: "Experienced my 1st bad week in Athens.My home burgled on Wednesday & defeat on Saturday.#iamasurvivor.looking fwd to new week.The strong will always survive????????#jahlives#Pao????
